Graphic Designer, Expert in Developing Brand Identities
Fixed priced branding before each project, YES.
Fixed packages with items you don’t need, NO!
If you are starting a new business, or you are simply growing out of your current business brand image, I can help you. I specialize in BRANDING, which for me is the foundation of your success. I am here to develop, craft and design a brand identity with you, that will work for you.
Together, we can determine your priorities and develop them. I say together, because yes, you will be involved. It might sound all serious to you now, but it is actually a very fun and exciting process. It should be. There is a reason and a time for each element to be developed and designed. The goal is to always keep in mind what you need now and in the future; make sure that the money you pay now becomes an investment. I will be honest: I don’t believe in quickly thrown together logos. They might be cheap now, but the lack of thought process will be more costly in the long run.
Here is a quick example: somebody just designed a logo for you, a bit on the cheap side, but hey, it looks nice when you receive the digital file. Great! Two months later, you realize that now would be a great time to get some business cards printed as you are meeting more and more people. You go to the local printing house and have 250 of them printed. A week later, you receive your brand new cards, but the logo couldn’t handle the simpler digital printing method, the colors are a bit off, etc… You contact the original designer and he tells you that you should print them with another technique, offset printing, as the logo is not well-thought for cost efficiency (he won’t tell you the last bit, though). Alright, sure, offset sounds good enough. Well, the cost then is more than double of the first run, plus you have 250 cards collecting dust.
On the other hand, some will try to sell you a package. I don’t believe in it. As I said from the get-go, fixed pricing before starting, YES. Fixed package with mandatory items, NO! Your business needs a personality, one that will set it apart from the competition. A meaningful representation of your values. Plus, maybe you don’t need a letterhead yet. Maybe you will never do. By carefully making decisions with you, we can make sure that every penny that you spend is put toward a primordial need while making sure that each of those elements can actually help your business grow, acquire or solidify your company’s credibility.
My goal is to work with you and create a brand identity that will not only make you proud, but that will also be effective. With time, we will make it grow and adapt it to every need that your expanding business will encounter. Quality over quantity. All that, for a price that can be justified in the short-medium-long term.
Thank you for your time and I am looking forward to working with you!
Or at the very least, get to discuss and answer some of the questions you might have before starting your process and making a final decision.
